Scotland Line-up Details 12-9-2007

Here’s some details on the Scotland team that won 1-0 over France in the European Championship Qualifier yesterday. Everton’s James McFadden scored the only goal of the game in the 64th minute. The game was played in front of a crowd of 42,000 in Paris.

  • Craig Gordon – 24 year old Sunderland goalkeeper who moved Hearts in 2007.
  • Alan Hutton – 22 year old Rangers right back. Made his Scotland debut in 2007.
  • Stephen McManus – 25 year old Celtic defender.
  • David Weir – 37 year old veteran who moved from Everton to Rangers in the summer. Made his Scotland debut in 1997 and has over 50 caps.
  • Graham Alexander – 35 year old Coventry born defender who has played for Scunthorpe, Luton and Preston before he moved to Burnley this summer. Made his Scotland debut in 2002.
  • Lee McCulloch – 29 year old midfielder. Moved from Wigan to Rangers this summer.
  • Barry Ferguson – 29 year old midfielder who had a spell at Blackburn in the English Premier League before returning to Rangers.
  • Darren Fletcher – 22 year old Manchester United midfielder. Has 34 caps and 94 Manchester United appearances.
  • Scott Brown – 22 year old Celtic midfielder. Moved from Hibernian before this season.
  • Paul Hartley – 30 year old Celtic midfielder. Has previously played for Hamilton Academical, Millwall, Raith Rovers, Hibernian, Morton, St. Johnstone and Hearts.
  • James McFadden – 24 year old Everton striker. Moved from Motherwell to Everton in 2003. Made his Scotland debut in 2002.
