Avram Grant: 52 year old Israeli manager. Has managed the Israeli club teams Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa in addition to the Israeli national team. He has won the Israeli league with both Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa. Under Grant Israel lost only six of 33 matches. Israel where undefeated in the 10 match qualifying campaign for the 2006 World Cup in Germany in a group that included France and Switzerland and narrowly failed to qualify. After leaving the post of national manager he has been director of football at Portsmouth and Chelsea.
