On This Day – Kenny Hibbitt Born

3-1-1951: On this day in 1951 Wolves midfielder Kenny Hibbitt was born. Hibbitt played 544 games for Wolves between 1968 and 1984 and scored 114 goals. Hibbitt had an impressive scoring record from midfield, be scored 17 goals from 41 appearances both in the 1974/75 and the 1976/77 season. He won two League Cup winner’s medals (1974 2-1 over Manchester City and 1980 1-0 over Nottingham Forest) and played in the 1972 UEFA Cup final against Tottenham. Spurs won the final 3-2 (2-1 and 1-1).
