6-9-2003. On this day in 2003 Liverpool’s Fernando Torres made his international debut for Spain. Torres played the first half in Spain’s 3-0 victory over neighbours Portugal. The friendly was played in Guimaraes in Portugal. Torres was replaced by Xavi after the break. The spanish goal scorers that night where Etxeberria, Joaquin and Tristan.
