On This Day – David James Makes 500th Premier League Appearance

30-1-2008. On this day in 2008 Portsmouth and England goalkeeper David James made his 500th Premier League appearance. Portsmouth lost the game 0-2 against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Ronaldo scored both goals for United.

James holds the record for most Premier League appearances:
