On This Day – Brad Friedel Scores for Blackburn

21-2-2004 On this day in 2004 Blackburn goalkeeper Brad Friedel scores a 90th minute tap in to level the game 2-2 against Charlton. But there was more drama in store as Claus Jensen decided the game for the Addicks in injury time.

Calton Cole and Jason Euell had given Charlton a 2-0 lead at the break. Andy Cole pulled one back for Blackburn in the 74th minute when he intercepted a back pass.

Charlton, who were managed by Alan Curbishley, finished seventh in the Premier League, while Blackburn, under Souness, finished in 15th place.
