Gaddafi Jr. Captured

Reports from the Libyan capital Tripoli claim that Muammar Gaddafi’s third son Al-Saadi Gaddafi has been captured by rebels. Gaddafi Jr. enjoys his football and has captained the national team and was president of the Libyan football federation. He has tried his luck in Italy playing one match for Serie A club Perguia before failing a drug test. He was also a member of the board of Juventus where a Libyan consortium own 7.5%.

Messi Mesmerizes Mourinho

Two moments of magic by Barcelona’s Lionel Messi resulted in a 0-2 victory in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final in Madrid. Messi netted his 51st and 52nd goals of the season and set up a probable final between Barca and Manchester United at Wembley in May.

Mourinho Finally Loses a Home Game

Sporting Gijon’s 1-0 win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu is Jose Mourinho‘s first home league loss in nine years, spanning an incredible 151 matches. His previous defeat was while he was in charge of Porto. He never lost a home match at Chelsea or Inter.

Paul Scholes Fined Fifteen Pound By FA

Manchester United terrier Paul Scholes was awarded his tenth yellow card of the season in yesterday’s Cup victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford and thereby earned the following punishment from the FA:

“10 Cautions

If a player receives 10 cautions between the first day of the season and the second Sunday in April they will suspended for a period of 2 matches and be fined ¬£15.”
